Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead structural engineering design across all project phases, including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, construction drawings preparation, and design optimization. Ensure alignment and integration of Egyptian local codes, international standards, and Chinese standards, delivering compliant, rational, cost-effective, and safe design solutions.

Prepare, review, and finalize structural design documents covering all superstructure, foundations, equipment bases, and special structures at all project stages. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design.

Localize designs according to Egyptian Engineering Standards (EES) and relevant government regulations, optimizing structural solutions to meet local approval and permit requirements.

Provide technical support on-site, addressing structural issues during construction, participating in site handover, equipment commissioning, and inspection.

Optimize structural design for cost efficiency while maintaining safety, conducting technical-economic analysis of design solutions to support project profitability.

Collaborate with Business Development/Commercial teams in preparing technical proposals for tenders, assist in answering technical queries, and contribute to the review of contract technical clauses.
