Job Description
- Receive incoming shipments of goods from suppliers.
- Properly store goods in designated areas within the store or warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is maintained at optimal levels.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
- Monitor product quality and integrity, reporting any issues to management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and logistics.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
