Job Description:Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) invites applications for the position of Associate or Full Professor in Statistics and Data Science within the Department of Statistics and Data Science. The University seeks highly motivated and passionate faculty members with demonstrated potential in both theoretical and applied statistics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to high-quality instruction, mentor graduate students, shape curriculum development, and engage in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of statistics, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI). Faculty members will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers, contribute to cutting-edge projects, and advance MBZUAI’s mission of AI excellence. The Department emphasizes the rigorous statistical and probabilistic foundations of machine learning and data science, focusing on computational methods for large-scale data and scalable inference techniques. Areas of research include statistical learning theory, high-dimensional statistics, causal inference, uncertainty quantification, and fairness and interpretability in AI. Interdisciplinary research integrating statistical innovation with decision sciences, healthcare, climate science, and computational biology is encouraged. **Qualifications:**
