Job Description:**Option:**
To ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the purchasing department shall be responsible for: formulating and executing local procurement strategies; identifying and assessing potential vendors based on established criteria, including quality, price, and delivery performance; monitoring inventory levels and meticulously tracking procurement activities to maintain optimal stock availability; collaborating with the planning department to ascertain and fulfill all local parts procurement requirements; resolving procurement-related issues or discrepancies promptly; remaining informed of industry advancements and best practices in procurement and supply chain management; ensuring timely remittance of invoices to local vendors in accordance with agreed-upon payment terms; and maintaining accuracy in purchase order processing and inventory control.
Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree and should have at least 1 training or courses or degrees in supply chain management.
• Experience: minimum 2-4 years in the same field .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of local market trends and suppliers.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Communication/Negotiation /Excel skills /Analyses/Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment, demonstrating initiative and resilience in the face of challenges.
