Job title – Pre-contract QS Department – EstimationLocation – UAE Qualification – Bachelors Degree, Civil Engineering Additional qualifications:· Familiar with takeoff software (Plan swift and/or on-screen take off)· Familiar with all engineering items, tools, materials & specifications used in construction projects· Familiar with variation order procedure· Familiar with payments procedure Responsibilities Take-off of all quantities related to construction projects from initial calculation to the final figures using takeoff software, Sending inquiries to various suppliers/subcontractors and prepare comparison statements (prices & quantities) for different quotations. BOQ Preparation Pricing civil items and finalize its cost estimate Follow up the variation orders for the running projects and evaluate them completely (quantities and prices)
