Scope:

The Sports Facility Manager at Abu Soma Development Company is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and customer experience of the company’s sports facilities. This role ensures that all venues operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with business goals. The Sports Facility Manager leads facility operations, staff coordination, scheduling, maintenance, and program delivery while supporting marketing and partnership initiatives that drive revenue, participation, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of sports facilities to ensure high-quality service and smooth workflow.
  • Manage facility staff including coaches, instructors, supervisors, and front-desk teams.
  • Ensure sports programs, classes, and events are delivered at high operational standards.
  • Develop facility schedules including training sessions, tournaments, rentals, and community activities.
  • Monitor facility usage, performance, and customer satisfaction to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure all sports venues adhere to safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to manage repairs, upgrades, and equipment needs.
  • Implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage facility budgets, including operational expenses, maintenance costs, and resource utilization.
  • Track revenue performance and support initiatives to increase memberships, bookings, and participation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs, events, and facility offerings.
  • Support partnership and sponsorship activities with sports academies, organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Plan and support the execution of sports events, tournaments, and facility-driven activities.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a positive and engaging experience for athletes, members, and guests.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to maintain competitive facility standards.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyses to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
  • Oversee inventory, equipment procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Train and develop facility staff to ensure strong performance and service excellence.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the facility.
