Job Description:The incumbent will be responsible for the following: delivering engaging Spanish language instruction aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational philosophy; cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to active participation and language acquisition; assessing and monitoring student progress via assignments, examinations, and consistent feedback, adjusting pedagogical techniques as necessary; integrating innovative instructional methodologies, multimedia resources, and interactive exercises to optimize language learning; facilitating the development of students’ Spanish language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing; collaborating with peers on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide language programs; participating in school functions, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities; maintaining meticulous records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance; providing personalized assistance to students with diverse language proficiencies and learning preferences; and fostering cultural awareness and appreciation of Spanish-speaking nations through classroom activities and organized events.
Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of experience teaching Spanish, preferably in a school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
