**Job Summary:**

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, fostering strategic partnerships, representing the company at industry events, and contributing to product/technical marketing initiatives. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of Fortra’s solution portfolio and the ability to articulate the value proposition to prospective customers and partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Sales Activities:**
* Collaborate with sales representatives to engage with prospective customers, conducting thorough needs assessments to identify customer challenges and propose tailored solutions.
* Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight key features and benefits.
* Manage the customer evaluation process, including the execution of trials and proof-of-concept engagements.
* Identify and address technical and functional objections, collaborating with internal teams to develop effective remediation strategies.
* Prepare and present persuasive proposals to customers at all organizational levels, including C-level executives, emphasizing the company’s unique value proposition.
* Provide professional services estimates and develop project plans as needed to ensure successful customer deployments.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and effectively differentiate the company’s offerings.
* Identify and cultivate cross-selling opportunities within the company’s product portfolio.

* **Partnership Activities:**
* Collaborate with partners on joint activities such as visits, demonstrations, proposals, and events.
* Assist in the partner recruitment process by participating in calls with potential partners.
* Contribute to partner enablement initiatives through technical training and functional enablement programs.
* Deliver technical presentations and address technical inquiries during sales calls with partners.

* **Industry Events:**
* Represent the company at trade shows, user group events, conferences, and virtual events.
* Deliver presentations at industry events as appropriate.

* **Product / Technical Marketing:**
* Participate in online webinars on relevant topics.
* Support the outbound launch of new products and releases.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on the company’s products, providing insights into customer usage, competitive positioning, and field sales/service strategies.

* **General Responsibilities:**
* Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fortra’s solution portfolio.
* Serve as a technical expert on assigned products.
* Continuously expand knowledge of sales processes, market trends, and soft skills.

**Qualifications:**

* Resident of KSA or UAE.
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science or IT.
* Minimum of four years of experience in IT, technical presales, technical consultancy, development, or technical support.
* Minimum of two years of experience in cybersecurity, specializing in DLP, data classification, or other relevant data governance solutions.
* Excellent oral presentation and public relations skills, with the ability to educate and train in a technical environment.
* Native proficiency in Arabic and fluency in English are required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
* Willingness to travel occasionally.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Previous presales experience with a DLP vendor.
* Hands-on experience with related cybersecurity technologies including DLP, CASB, Email Gateways, Document Management, DRM/Encryption, EDR solutions.
* Security, technical, or other certifications such as CISSP are considered an advantage.
* Experience working on IT/security projects in large organizations.
