Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software QA Engineer / Tester to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications through both manual and automated testing techniques.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing, automation frameworks, regression testing, and Agile development environments. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with developers and project managers are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Design, write, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Execute automated regression testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Work closely with developers to understand application architecture and framework design.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
• Perform smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and product quality.
• Assist in performance/stress testing activities when required.
