Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail oriented, experienced and professional Security Manager. You will have experience managing security of large critical infrastructure installations, ideally in high security environments. You will have professional experience managing people with varying skill sets, devising strategies, creating, tracking and managing budgets, sponsoring projects, and driving improvements of our security readiness.You will lead and uphold the high standards of the physical security protocols for an operational team that performs decommissioning services of Data Center Hardware in a high volume industrial environment. The team receives parts, performs sanitization procedures, maintains inventory, and performs visual inspections as needed following all data security and environmental compliance procedures.Key Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, security technology, and risks that could impact the operation.Conduct annual risk analysis and provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices.Support the operations team with security related advice and guidance, and assist contract security staff in achieving current and long range strategic program objectives.Collaborate with peers in other sites and regions to ensure a safe and secure environment and safeguard assets.Educate stakeholders on emergency readiness, promote a culture of security awareness, conduct regular drills, and update all plans annually.Provide periodic performance, program, and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders.Desired Leadership and InfluenceThe ideal candidate will be a confident, decisive, influential, and innovative leader who can communicate a compelling set of outcomes to be achieved. They must have the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs they implement and monitor at all levels. They must be comfortable with ambiguity, and can define structure, processes, and standards where none yet exist.Basic Qualifications5+ years’ experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems5+ years Project Management experience5+ years creating process improvement procedures5+ years managing a team of individual contributors and vendorsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience in corporate or government security environment5+ years experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs, physical security countermeasuresFamiliarity with security program automation and implementationFamiliarity with various Access/Intrusion Control SystemsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
