Raytheon is seeking a qualified Simulator Systems Technician to operate and maintain Patriot missile system training simulators at a designated location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and functionality of the Patriot Organization Maintenance Trainer (POMT), the Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer (PCOFT), and the Patriot Intermediate Maintenance Institutional Trainer (PIMIT). This includes performing routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and repairing/replacing components. The technician will also monitor facility operations, coordinate with instructor personnel to support scheduled training, and advise Air Defense Forces Institute personnel on simulator system compatibility. The work will be performed on-site.

**Responsibilities:**

* Operate the Patriot Organization Maintenance Trainer (POMT) and the Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer (PCOFT) in support of scheduled training exercises.
* Perform routine and emergency maintenance on the POMT, PCOFT, and the Patriot Intermediate Maintenance Institutional Trainer (PIMIT), encompassing comprehensive system testing and repair/replacement of organizationally maintained items.
* Monitor the status of facility operations, including lighting, air conditioning, power, and security systems.
* Collaborate closely with instructor personnel to ensure seamless training support and the attainment of training objectives.
* Advise Air Defense Forces Institute personnel on the compatibility of simulator systems with tactical systems and recommend necessary measures to maintain compatibility.
* Support training activities as directed and permitted under the approved Training Assistance Agreement (TAA).
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the section officer.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Patriot missile systems.
* Experience in fault isolation and repair utilizing program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, and built-in test equipment (BITE).
* Proficiency in the operation, troubleshooting, and modular level repair of the Patriot Organizational Maintenance Trainer (POMT) and the Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer (PCOFT).
* Skill in Patriot tactical scenario generation utilizing the Scenario Generation Group (SGG) software and the On-Line Training Mode (OTM) software.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

**Education Requirements:**

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or four (4) years of relevant experience; or
* Associate’s degree in engineering or applied science or six (6) years of relevant experience; or
* High school diploma with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
* Successful completion of the Patriot System Operator/Maintenance Course (14E), conducted by the U.S. Army Air Defense School or equivalent courses of instruction conducted by a Patriot system contractor.

**Additional Requirements:**

* Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is $82,000 USD – $164,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
