Job Description:**Job Title:** Senior/Supervisory Utilities Engineer
**Position Summary:**
The Senior/Supervisory Utilities Engineer is accountable for the supervision, design, operation, and maintenance of all utility systems within a chemical manufacturing facility. This position ensures the continuous, efficient, and safe provision of essential utilities, including but not limited to steam, thermal oil, compressed air, water, and electricity. The incumbent is responsible for leading a team to achieve operational excellence, optimize energy efficiency, and ensure comprehensive adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of all utility systems, encompassing thermal oil plants, steam plants, compressed air systems, water treatment facilities, cooling plants, vacuum systems, and power generators.
* Direct a team of technicians to guarantee an uninterrupted supply of utilities to production lines.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure their timely execution.
* Monitor utility system performance to ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and quality standards.
* Analyze utility system performance, energy consumption, and water usage to identify potential areas for improvement.
* Initiate and lead projects focused on energy conservation and cost optimization.
* Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering departments to integrate utilities with plant operations.
* Prepare comprehensive reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and technical documentation for management review.
* Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and operators.
* Participate in equipment commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting procedures.
