Job Title: System Engineering Team Lead Job Purpose: To lead a team responsible for the detailed system and application software engineering configuration, design, assembly, and testing of various control systems and human-machine interfaces, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Lead the System Engineering Team within assigned projects. Review project technical specifications and relevant industry standards. Review work procedures and product specifications to ensure quality and compliance. Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager regarding daily activities and project status. Conduct detailed system and application software engineering, design, assembly, and testing of control systems in accordance with customer requirements. Prepare and review software-related Bills of Materials for diverse systems. Collaborate with customer engineers to address and resolve technical issues. Prepare and review Purchase Orders for project materials. Collaborate with the Lead Project Engineer to ensure seamless technical integration. Coordinate with the Document Controller to maintain accurate project documentation and with the QC Engineer for inspection and testing activities. Organize internal meetings to facilitate the achievement of project milestones. Monitor and control project progress to ensure timely completion. Adhere to the Project Schedule and Project Quality Plan. Prepare and track scope of work deviations. Participate in site acceptance testing, commissioning, and start-up activities. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation or Electronics. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Control Systems, including Application Software development. Experience with Yokogawa CentumVP system is highly desirable. Competencies: Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Proficient in system engineering design analysis and techniques. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Expertise in application software debugging and troubleshooting. Skills: Strong knowledge of IT fundamentals and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent project report writing and presentation skills. Proficiency in system design engineering software packages.
