**Job Title:** Senior Specialist, Mechanical Maintenance
**Business Unit/Function:** Phosphate BU – RAK Production, Maintenance Department – Mechanical Maintenance MH
**Grade:** M10
**Position Type:** Specialist
**Job Purpose:**
To support the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Superintendent in the execution of preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical equipment associated with the MH Plant. This includes contributing to the implementation of Root Cause Analysis recommendations, monitoring performance, and developing maintenance strategies based on Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
**Key Accountabilities:**
* Communicate with supervisors and planning personnel regarding daily work schedules and completed jobs to monitor performance and identify problematic equipment.
* Perform troubleshooting of mechanical systems and determine appropriate repair procedures.
* Initiate major overhauling procedures and prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) accordingly.
* Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance standards.
* Contribute to the development of Mechanical Maintenance Procedures.
* Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) recommendations, monitoring performance, and developing maintenance strategies based on Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
* Prepare and submit reports to the Engineer regarding predictive maintenance requirements of equipment and the implementation of Root Cause Analysis recommendations.
**Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:**
* Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, or Diploma with 8 years of experience.
