Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on responsibilities and contributions):**
Assume responsibility for the comprehensive development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for a range of software applications, encompassing web, mobile, and desktop platforms. Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing, leveraging diverse testing tools and methodologies, including automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG. Analyze test results, meticulously document defects, and diligently track their resolution. Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and maintain quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues during the early stages of development. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Maintain a current awareness of emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, fostering their understanding of effective testing techniques and established best practices.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester with a strong focus on manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance, security).
- Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with any of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools is a plus.
