Job Description:**Responsibilities encompass:**
* **Business Development:** Identifying and prospecting for new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector through strategic market analysis, professional networking, and cultivation of referrals; formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve pre-defined growth objectives.
* **Client Relationship Management:** Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with both existing and prospective clientele, serving as the principal liaison for inquiries and service requests; ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive communication.
* **Consultative Sales:** Conducting thorough needs assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ logistical requirements; developing and presenting bespoke freight forwarding solutions that demonstrably meet or surpass client expectations.
* **Sales Pipeline Administration:** Maintaining a dynamic pipeline of qualified leads and prospective opportunities; leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to meticulously track sales activities, manage client communications, and generate accurate sales forecasts.
* **Presentation and Negotiation:** Preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and detailed proposals to prospective clients; effectively articulating the value proposition of our freight forwarding services and establishing a clear competitive differentiation.
* **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Collaborating closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and alignment on service delivery capabilities; facilitating effective communication and coordination across functional areas.
* **Market Analysis and Intelligence:** Maintaining a current awareness of industry trends, prevailing market conditions, the competitive environment, and emerging innovations within the freight forwarding domain; leveraging market insights to identify and capitalize on new sales prospects.
* **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Regularly monitoring sales performance and providing comprehensive reports to management on sales activities, achievements against established targets, and identified areas for potential improvement.

Skills:
Academic, Educational &Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in freight forwarding or sales are a plus.
- Experience: 3 – 5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and develop client relationships.
