Job Description

MiracleFeet -

Company: MiracleFeet –

WebSite: Cairo, Egypt

Job Description:**About MiracleFeet**

MiracleFeet is a global non-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of clubfoot, a leading cause of physical disability worldwide. It is estimated that over two million children currently live with the debilitating effects of untreated clubfoot, with approximately 175,000 infants born with this condition annually. Utilizing the Ponseti method, a non-surgical intervention, 95% of cases can be successfully treated at a cost of less than $500. Since 2010, MiracleFeet has employed a proven and scalable model, underpinned by custom measurement and evaluation tools developed in conjunction with its partners. To date, the organization has facilitated access to quality clubfoot treatment for over 113,000 children across 510 clinics in 39 countries throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa. Further details regarding MiracleFeet’s operational model and impact are available [here](https://www.miraclefeet.org/about-us/our-model). Despite these efforts, less than one in five children currently receive necessary treatment.

In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, MiracleFeet is at a critical juncture in its program development. Current strategic priorities include the initiation of treatment programs in Algeria, the enhancement of existing programs in Egypt, and the acceleration of progress in Chad, a priority country supported by GiveWell. The region presents both opportunities and challenges, requiring the cultivation of strong partnerships with local healthcare providers, alignment with public health systems, and careful navigation of complex political and social landscapes.

**Organizational Culture**

MiracleFeet fosters a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive environment where all staff members are valued and appreciated. The organization encourages creative thinking and innovative problem-solving in all aspects of its work. The global team comprises health professionals, social entrepreneurs, project managers, data analysts, innovators, and advocates united by a shared commitment to ensuring that all children born with clubfoot have access to quality treatment.

**Summary**

The Senior Program Field Officer (SPFO), MENA, will be responsible for leading the design, facilitation, and implementation of national clubfoot programs within the region. This strategic role will focus on strengthening collaborations with local providers and hospitals, promoting best practices in program delivery and grantmaking, and ensuring alignment with broader public health trends and policies.

The SPFO will be based in one of MiracleFeet’s current or prospective countries within the region (e.g., Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon, or Jordan) and will be required to undertake frequent travel within the region. The successful candidate will possess substantial program management experience in global health or international development, fluency in Arabic and French (with a high level of English proficiency strongly preferred), and the ability to engage effectively with Ministries of Health, local stakeholders, and international partners.

The SPFO will report to the Director of Programs and will collaborate closely with the broader program management team.

**Essential Functions**

**Program Development, Monitoring, and Strategic Planning**

* Lead and support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of MiracleFeet-supported national clubfoot programs across MENA.
* Spearhead the launch of new programs in North African and Middle Eastern countries, while strengthening and expanding ongoing efforts in Egypt, Chad, Morocco, and Mauritania.
* Support partners in aligning programs with national health systems, policies, and broader child health priorities.
* Guide local partners in developing workplans, budgets, scopes of work, and grant agreements that ensure program quality, sustainability, and growth.

* Support the integration of clubfoot treatment into public health systems, encompassing workforce development, data systems, and referral pathways.
* Assist partners in utilizing program data and innovative tools (e.g., Salesforce, CAST APP, CAST Community) to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
* Monitor regional and global public health trends to identify opportunities for advocacy, integration, and strategic alignment.

**Partnership Development and Advocacy**

* Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Ministries of Health, hospitals, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Provide technical support, coaching, and mentoring to partners to enhance program delivery, reporting, and governance.
* Represent MiracleFeet at stakeholder meetings, collaborative platforms, and policy discussions within the region.
* Support advocacy initiatives aimed at expanding government ownership of clubfoot programs and ensuring long-term sustainability.

**Programmatic Coordination and Learning**

* Contribute to cross-regional learning initiatives, ensuring that best practices are shared and adapted to the specific context of the MENA region.
* Collaborate with the Programs Team to develop regional strategies and frameworks, and to facilitate knowledge exchange.
* Prepare programmatic updates, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, boards, and government entities.
* Participate in organization-wide initiatives, task forces, and global campaigns to advance MiracleFeet’s mission.
