Job Description:The incumbent is responsible for the comprehensive management of multiple company projects, encompassing all engineering planning activities. This includes reviewing and developing baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and tender schedules, as well as allocating project resources, costs, and cash flow in detail. The incumbent integrates various project disciplines into the schedule to meet individual requirements and constraints, and prepares Schedule Narratives to support the tender department in developing method statements during the tender phase. Furthermore, the incumbent reviews summary reports and data prepared by Planning Engineers to facilitate project schedule development. Collaboration with the Commercial and Operational Departments is undertaken to develop logistics plans for project construction phases. Resource requirements across projects are reviewed for submission to the Operations Department. Regular reviews are conducted to ensure that project schedule updates accurately reflect on-site progress and that baseline schedules are effectively communicated to clients and consultants, achieving timeframes within available resources. Consolidated reports reflecting project status are issued to the Projects Control Manager. The incumbent monitors and controls procurement and engineering progress schedules to ensure alignment with construction progress on-site, and reviews subcontractor progress with Planning Engineers. A close-out report is prepared in coordination with the project team to serve as a future reference for the company. The incumbent coordinates with site Planning Engineers in generating revised or recovery plans as needed and reviews site correspondence and Variation Orders to instruct Planning Engineers to issue timely claim notifications. The claim process is monitored across individual projects to ensure timely submission. Furthermore, the incumbent supervises, trains, and shares knowledge with Planning Engineers to ensure the issuance of master schedules compliant with contract requirements and company procedures. Adherence to Project Controls Department policies and procedures is ensured in the performance of assigned tasks and the conduct of planning staff. Direction and management are provided to Planning Engineers in the project in performing delegated tasks linked to the Project Controls Department policies and procedures. The incumbent also participates in the issuance of the yearly projects’ plan in coordination with the Operation Department and Projects Control Manager.
