Specific Accountabilities This role encompasses the comprehensive management of procurement packages throughout their entire lifecycle, including: Scope Definition: Defining project scope, developing budgets, and establishing project schedules. Project Control: Monitoring, controlling, and analyzing project costs and schedules. Interface Management: Managing communication and coordination between project teams and subconsultants/subcontractors. Quality Planning: Planning and implementing strategies to achieve desired quality outcomes. Team Leadership: Building effective teams and fostering strong working relationships. Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to quality management principles and standards. Performance Reporting: Providing regular and accurate performance reports to stakeholders. Change Management: Managing project changes effectively and efficiently. Overall Delivery: Ensuring the successful completion of projects within defined parameters. HSE Management: Managing and controlling health, safety, and environmental risks associated with project activities. Cost Optimization: Developing and implementing initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness. Risk Management: Effectively managing and controlling risks throughout the design and installation phases. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding and implementing the requirements of the relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations Act. Design Integrity: Maintaining design integrity and quality within the project team. Safety Leadership: Promoting personal safety and safe working practices, and ensuring adherence to OH&S procedures. Mentoring and Training: Mentoring, coaching, and training subordinate staff. Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated leadership and communication skills. A proven track record in managing major projects, with a minimum [Insert Number] years of experience as a Project Manager. Demonstrable commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management in a project environment. Working knowledge of industry-standard business support systems, including project planning packages, cost management systems, and ISO9001 quality management systems. A high level of customer focus. Experience managing major Bankable Feasibility Studies (BFS) involving input from various internal and external sources.
