Senior Operator (DHT)

Job PurposeTo ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of downhole tool operations across drilling, completion, and intervention phases. Focuses on tool redressing, inspection, and maintenance, ensuring tools are ready for deployment and compliant with standards.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1) Tool Preparation and DispatchSelect appropriate tools based on casing specifications, job objectives, and location.Verify certifications and issue delivery notes prior to dispatch.Label tools with Green/Red tags and store them in ventilated areas to avoid UV damage. Inspection and RedressingConduct and document inspections including: Thread checksMagnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)Pressure testsGaugingVisual assessmentsRedress tools using C-Vice and hand tools, ensuring readiness for next deployment. Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2) Tool Certification and DocumentationPrepare and submit inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) for tools, crossovers, and spare parts.Maintain tool history and traceability records.Improves learning skills to ensure efficient performance and execution of complicated cementing jobs including but not limited to accurate calculations checklists, pre and post job reports.Independently performs all required maintenance on equipment is performed and that unit/s is/are in safe, clean and proper working condition for the next service job.Performs Risk Analysis before each job or task and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards. Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.Minimum QualificationSecondary School (or equivalent).Minimum Experience, Knowledge & SkillsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience.Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programmes.Good written and spoken English.Revenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budgetDirect Reports: As per organization chartIndirect Reports: As per organization chart
