**Role Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will provide expert consultation to clients, supporting the design and implementation of security components within their network environments. A thorough understanding of routing protocols, including VxLAN, switching technologies, and security solutions from vendors such as Aruba, Riverbed, Solarwinds, and Fortinet is essential. This role requires the ability to make critical technical decisions on project tasks and effectively communicate with all levels of client personnel.

**Responsibilities and Qualifications:**

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the following:

* Developing and implementing best-practice threat prevention processes and procedures.
* Performing remote troubleshooting using established diagnostic techniques.
* Analyzing and resolving network performance, connectivity, and related issues.
* Managing equipment builds, software patching, and upgrades.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for internal knowledge sharing.
* Conducting root cause analysis and problem resolution.
* Proactively identifying and resolving recurring issues, improving existing services and processes.
* Demonstrating proficiency in problem management methodologies.
* Serving as the primary technical point of contact for customer engagements.
* Maintaining strong client relationships through effective electronic communication.
* Presenting technical solutions in a clear and understandable manner for non-technical audiences.
* Providing transparent communication with customers to ensure timely resolution of all issues.
* Assisting in project management activities.
* Regularly interacting with technical and business stakeholders at client organizations.
* Identifying and communicating potential cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.
* Managing time and expenses to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work.
* Delivering high-quality content using standardized document templates.
* Collaborating with Project Managers and clients to manage expectations and timelines.
* Conducting and leading design workshops to align solutions with client business and technical objectives.
* Proactively developing plans and activities to mitigate potential problems.
* Educating clients on solution capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.
