We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Maintenance Department. The selected candidate will be instrumental in optimizing the performance, reliability, and longevity of our manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. This role necessitates a robust combination of mechanical engineering acumen, practical troubleshooting skills, and a dedication to upholding a compliant and highly productive medical device manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Spearhead the planning, execution, and supervision of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance initiatives for intricate mechanical systems, production machinery, and utility infrastructure within a medical device manufacturing plant.
* Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and adhere to production schedules.
* Formulate and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
* Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Design and implement modifications or upgrades to existing equipment to improve performance, extend operational life, or address obsolescence.
* Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for critical mechanical components, ensuring availability while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure maintenance activities adhere to medical device regulations (ISO 13485) and internal quality standards.
* Develop and deliver training to junior maintenance technicians on new equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
* Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management, asset tracking, and data analysis to facilitate continuous improvement.
* Oversee the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment, ensuring proper setup and integration into existing systems.
* Maintain comprehensive maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment history.
