Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our contracting and construction company. The candidate will oversee mechanical works, ensure compliance with project specifications, supervise site activities, and coordinate with all stakeholders to deliver high-quality mechanical systems on time and within budget.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction/contracting sector.Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and mechanical systems design and installation.Proven experience in managing site execution and subcontractors.Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).Strong communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage all mechanical works on construction sites.Review and ensure compliance with mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.Prepare and review material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical reports.Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution according to schedule.Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.Provide technical support to project teams and resolve mechanical engineering issues.Participate in testing & commissioning of mechanical systems.Manage subcontractors and ensure proper installation of mechanical equipment and systems.
