**Position: Marketing Strategist**

We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing Strategist to join our organization on a part-time, project-based arrangement, with the potential for transition to full-time employment. This role encompasses leadership of strategic initiatives for client projects, including research, strategy development, campaign architecture, and ongoing strategic oversight.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic acumen, analytical proficiency, proactive initiative, and a commitment to developing growth strategies that yield measurable results across digital marketing channels.

This position entails a pivotal leadership function within client accounts and necessitates close collaboration with media buyers, creative teams, and client success managers to ensure successful execution of marketing strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Client Research & Analysis:** Review client briefs, analyze situational factors, benchmark competitors, and conduct audience research to identify strategic growth opportunities aligned with client goals and market conditions.
* **Strategic Planning:** Develop comprehensive marketing strategies, encompassing channel mix, audience segmentation, creative direction, funnel design, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Formulate short-term (90-180 days) and long-term growth roadmaps, addressing specific client needs such as global expansion, brand awareness, strategic growth, store location expansion, and internal operational improvements.
* **Client Onboarding & Strategy Alignment:** Lead or co-lead onboarding meetings to present strategic recommendations and align client expectations with execution plans.
* **Campaign Oversight & Collaboration:** Guide media buyers and creative teams during campaign development, monitor initial performance, and recommend tactical adjustments based on results.
* **Strategic Reviews & Ongoing Optimization:** Conduct quarterly strategy reviews and continuously adapt client strategies based on data, market trends, and client objectives.
* **Internal Knowledge Building:** Contribute to the development of internal strategic playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and growth frameworks.

Skills:

Job Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in an agency, consulting, or brand-side leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies across paid media platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Strong portfolio of previous client projects or strategy documents.
  • Skills:
  • Expert-level understanding of digital marketing funnels, paid acquisition strategies, and customer journey mapping.
  • Deep knowledge of lead generation, e-commerce, B2B, and/or B2C growth strategies.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data and extract strategic insights (not just tactical metrics).
  • High-level strategic thinking combined with hands-on familiarity with platforms.
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions with media buyers, creatives, and CSMs.
