**Job Description: Senior Manager, Regulatory & Policy (Transport Business Unit)**
**General Summary:**
**The Regulatory & Policy team within the Transport Business Unit (TBU) is responsible for shaping the transport agenda at Qiddiya by ensuring adherence to national regulatory frameworks, relevant policies, and sector-specific mandates. The team manages regulatory submissions, facilitates engagement with governmental entities, conducts policy impact assessments, and supports the TBU’s compliance with external approvals and established governance protocols. Functioning collaboratively, the team serves as the primary liaison between the BU and external regulators, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.**
**The Senior Manager will support the implementation of the TBU’s regulatory strategy, cultivate key relationships with government agencies, and oversee the preparation of critical regulatory submissions and position papers. This role ensures adherence to regulatory timelines and advocates for Qiddiya’s interests in external engagements.**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* **Assist the Associate Director in managing approvals and permits obtained from regulatory authorities.**
* **Coordinate the development of regulatory documentation and responses to government inquiries.**
* **Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting transport projects.**
* **Establish and maintain professional relationships with government officials and regulatory entities.**
* **Provide regulatory guidance and support interface planning for internal project teams.**
**Requirements/Qualifications:**
* **Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Transport Planning, or a related field.**
* **Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in regulatory affairs, permitting, or policy advisory within a transport or infrastructure environment.**
