The Senior Manager, Application Development, is responsible for providing leadership in the design, development, and implementation of business applications aligned with SOPC’s operational and strategic objectives. This individual will ensure the scalability, security, and alignment of all applications with business requirements, IT standards, and the SOPC Digital Strategy. Responsibilities include managing internal and external development teams, driving innovation, and overseeing the lifecycle of all application solutions across the organization, with specific emphasis on leveraging core enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and SAP. Key accountabilities encompass application development and delivery, systems integration, project and vendor management, innovation and continuous improvement, performance management and reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning, all geared towards enhancing efficiency, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.
