As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and executing innovative designs that create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and harmonious environments.
Job Description
Design Development:
Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand their requirements, objectives, and design preferences.
Conduct site visits to assess existing spaces and gather relevant information for design development.
Develop concept designs, mood boards, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
Create detailed design plans, including space layouts, furniture arrangements, material selections, and lighting concepts.
Project Management:
Lead the design team in all aspects of project management, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure seamless coordination between design and execution phases.
Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, provide design guidance, and resolve any design-related issues.
Client Interaction:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and design revisions promptly and professionally.
Conduct design presentations and meetings to communicate design concepts, gain client feedback, and secure approvals.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior design team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and integration of design elements.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving.
Industry Awareness:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, finishes, and technologies relevant to interior design.
Attend design exhibitions, trade shows, and professional development workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of UAE experience in interior design, with a focus on fit-out projects.
- Only candidates based in the UAE shall be profiled with the sample portfolios provided
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling/rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Extensive knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and FF&E selection.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a design team
