Job Summary The Finance Analyst is responsible for the daily execution of Finance Managed Service operations within the Finance Service Tower. This includes processing financial transactions and generating required reports in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements. Responsibilities The Finance Analyst will contribute to one or more core finance processes, delivering activities for PwC clients, including: Accounts Payable: Maintaining complete ownership of accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Managing the monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Preparing monthly and quarterly reports as required. Assisting accountants and controllers with Accounts Payable related issues. Reviewing and processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and releasing invoices for payment. Resolving vendor inquiries and requests submitted via email or ticketing systems within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs). Maintaining exception logs for process-related exceptions to facilitate knowledge retention. Independently performing transactional tasks that support the compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes. Enforcing internal compliance policies and guidelines established by management in daily operational activities. Performing daily internal audits to ensure all invoices and queries are balanced according to established guidelines. Maintaining a tracker of exceptions to ensure invoices and queries are balanced based on the exception tracker. Order to Cash: Identifying and rectifying unidentified cash receipts and managing the end-to-end process of cash office reconciliations. Identifying exceptions in cash office reconciliations and following up with stores for proper closure. Reporting cash shortages/overages and submitting requests for payroll recovery for amounts exceeding the threshold specified in the policy. Collaborating closely with merchants to resolve credit card settlement issues and chargebacks. Following up on customer/internal disputes and inquiries, collaborating with various departments to achieve resolution. Making collection calls to customers and emailing/faxing invoices or mailing hard copies according to customer requests. Resolving queries related to cash applications and coordinating with customers. Demonstrating extensive knowledge and ability to perform day-to-day operations while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). Working as part of an Order to Cash Processing team responsible for the entire Order to Cash process, from customer inquiry to sales order, delivery, and invoicing. Determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, conducting analyses, and reconciling transactions. Expected Skills Excellent communication skills are essential, with proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic. Strong understanding of P2P or O2C processes and related accounting knowledge preferred. Experience working in the Middle East region is desirable. Arabic language skills are an advantage. Minimum Education and Specific Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management/Administration, or equivalent. Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management/Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university is preferred. Minimum Years of Experience Required Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to diverse people, processes, and technology within a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East region.
