Senior Engineer, Process (Process Engineering Team – Habshan 5)

Job PurposeDirect, supervises and Coordinates all the activities of engineers within the functional discipline of Process Engineering and provide technical advice to operations on all relevant process engineering aspects. Designs integrity and timeliness of work for technical studies.Job Specific Accountabilities Prepares progress and performance analysis reports, highlights the problematic areas and recommends appropriate actions. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with set policy and procedures and the regulatory standards are met. To reach and maintain ISO certification for Process section Review all engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractor in respect to process and controls. Review of all systems and equipment design, to insure easy & safe operations. Provide on-site process engineering consultation during construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning stage of projects Act as Technical Authority for process discipline engineering in the Company. Provides mediation in the event of technical dispute between conflicting parties. Provides Process Engineering expertise for the development and authorization of Key Documents (Philosophies, Policies, Design Basis) for all project works covering Assets, Major Projects, Brownfield Projects and New field projects to ensure consistency and efficacy. Support, develops and reviews the Process engineering standards, codes of practice and technical specifications to ensure that they are in line with prevailing legislation, current best practice and reflect lessons learnt from past activities. Identifies, investigates and recommends appropriate new technical innovations, developments and enhancements to improve delivery of business goals. Ensures Process Engineering representation and expertise is available for necessary support of HSE driven studies and workshops.Internal Communications & Working RelationshipsContact with line Manager/ peers and other employees within the company/Group as requiredExternal Communications & Working RelationshipsContact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required  Minimum QualificationBachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent engineering disciplineMinimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills8 years of relevant experience in the same or similar role in the oil and gas industryRevenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budgetDirect Reports: As per organization chartIndirect Reports: As per organization chart
