This role requires a professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in cost management on large-scale, complex infrastructure or mega-projects.Key Responsibilities ????Project Cost Control: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cost control systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management across various work packages for The Line project.Budget Management: Establish and manage the overall project budget, ensuring robust financial governance and alignment with project scope and schedule.Cost Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed, timely, and accurate cost reports, variance analysis, and cash flow projections for project stakeholders and senior management.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage cost-related risks, developing mitigation strategies and managing the project contingency budget.Contract Administration: Oversee cost-related aspects of contract administration, including managing variations, claims, and final account settlements with contractors and suppliers.Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of cost professionals, fostering best practices and ensuring consistent application of cost management procedures.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for cost matters, effectively communicating financial status and recommendations to internal teams, external consultants, and NEOM leadership.Qualifications & Requirements ????Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management, with significant exposure to major civil, infrastructure, or vertical construction mega-projects. Experience in the Middle East is highly desirable.Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
