Job Description:**Job Description**
The Business Development Specialist role entails the proactive cultivation of new business relationships and the provision of initial support to established clientele.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth strategy emphasizing both revenue generation and client satisfaction.
* Identify and pursue potential new clients and opportunities.
* Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
* Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
* Conduct market research to identify emerging markets and evolving customer needs.
* Engage with prospective clients through various communication channels, including telephone and email.
* Schedule and conduct business meetings with potential clients.
* Promote the company’s service offerings by addressing or anticipating client objectives.
* Prepare sales contracts in compliance with applicable legal standards and regulations.
* Generate customer quotations and diligently follow up to convert these into confirmed projects.
* Assess and process Requests for Proposal (RFPs) as required.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue generation, and invoicing processes.
* Offer reliable feedback and comprehensive after-sales support.
* Develop and nurture enduring relationships with both new and existing customers.
* Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure the availability of current and relevant sales materials.
* Deliver on-site and remote presentations to potential clients.
* Furnish clients with pertinent information regarding the company, its solutions, pricing structures, production processes, project management methodologies, and customer service protocols.
* Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives.
* Monitor and analyze industry trends and customer drivers, and engage in regular consultations with management and stakeholders to discuss strategic direction.
* Conduct site visits to current and prospective clients.
Skills:
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a business development executive in the Translation industry is a must.
- Experience in translation and localization sales or business development.
- Experience working closely with a marketing team.
- Proven B2B sales track record (closing new business)
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)
- Proficiency in English.
- Market knowledge.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Organized and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
