Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job DescriptionParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM/CAD Drafter to join our team!In this role, you will support multidisciplinary design teams by producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings, models, and coordination deliverables in compliance with authority standards and project requirements.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for infrastructure and utilities projects using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM platforms.Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design intent.Prepare cross-sections, profiles, plans, and construction-ready drawings.Ensure all deliverables fully comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and DEWA standards and guidelines.Participate in internal design reviews, providing technical input on drafting and modeling issues.Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and adherence to company CAD/BIM standards.Support clash detection processes and model coordination with other disciplines.Assist in developing and improving BIM/CAD workflows, templates, and quality procedures.What Required Skills You’ll BringMinimum 10 years of proven experience as a BIM/CAD Drafter within infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.Solid understanding of drafting principles, detailing, and technical drawing standards.Experience working with large-scale utility networks (stormwater, sewer, irrigation, electrical, etc.).Ability to read, interpret, and translate engineering sketches and markups into accurate drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.What Desired Skills You’ll BringWorking knowledge of BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or similar.Experience in clash detection using Navisworks or comparable software.Understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination for utilities, roads, and infrastructure.Familiarity with digital project delivery workflows and ISO standards.Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.Authority KnowledgeThe candidate must be fully aware of DM, RTA, and DEWA requirements, drafting standards, and submission guidelines, with proven experience preparing authority-compliant drawings and NOC-related packages.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
