**Role Summary:**
The Senior Associate, Sales Business Development, will be responsible for establishing, nurturing, and strengthening long-term strategic relationships with key accounts within the UAE. This role necessitates positioning Carrier as a world leader in climate and energy solutions, showcasing our comprehensive capabilities to deliver exceptional value and establish Carrier as the trusted partner for our strategic clientele. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement, expanding key relationships, and ensuring Carrier is the client’s first choice.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Account Strategy & Growth:** Develop and execute key account and business development strategies to achieve defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to both existing and prospective clients. Develop and implement customized account plans aligned with both client objectives and Carrier’s strategic goals.
* **Prospecting & Lead Generation:** Identify and research potential clients through online research, networking opportunities, and relevant industry publications. Generate qualified leads and maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities.
* **Client Relationship Management:** Conduct initial outreach to prospects via email, telephone, and social media channels to introduce Carrier’s comprehensive solutions. Cultivate and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Comprehend client business drivers, needs, and industry trends to offer tailored and impactful solutions.
* **Sales Support & Contract Management:** Assist in the preparation of compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts. Coordinate with the sales team to schedule meetings and ensure diligent follow-up. Manage long-term contracts with a focus on client retention and the sustained delivery of value.
* **Market Research & Reporting:** Maintain comprehensive awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Maintain accurate records of all client interactions within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and generate performance and pipeline reports.
* **Development & Solutions Customization:** Propose comprehensive, end-to-end packaged solutions based on client feedback and specific requirements. Collaborate internally with relevant teams to develop effective strategies that address and fulfill client needs.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
* Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered a distinct advantage.
* Strong understanding of the UAE market and key governmental sectors.
* Knowledge of HVAC solutions is highly desirable.
* 3–5 years of relevant experience in account management, business development, or sales.
* Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is mandatory.
* Valid UAE driving license is required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software applications.
