About the role

The Senior Architectural Engineer is responsible for designing, managing, and supervising architectural
elements in high-rise buildings construction projects. This role involves ensuring that architectural designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with building codes and project requirements. The Senior Architectural Engineer collaborates with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of architectural features into the overall construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and review architectural designs to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Incorporate innovative solutions while meeting functional, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers for seamless system integration.
  • Provide technical guidance during construction and oversee progress.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and resolve architectural discrepancies.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Implement sustainable design principles and stay updated on industry trends.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 8-10 years of experience in architectural design and engineering, focusing on large-scale projects.
  • Professional certification or licensing (e.g., RIBA, AIA) preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and workflows.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
