Job Description:**الخيار:**
The professional is responsible for architectural design development and documentation, encompassing the leadership of design from conceptualization to the production of detailed construction drawings. This includes ensuring compliance with Egyptian building codes, zoning laws, and relevant local regulations. Further responsibilities include the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, and technical reports, as well as the development of 3D models and renderings for client presentations. The professional will also monitor project budgets and provide cost-control recommendations, manage client expectations, and address concerns promptly. In addition, the professional will prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in compliance with Egyptian measurement standards (e.g., ECP 201), conduct cost estimation and value engineering to align design with budget constraints, and coordinate with quantity surveyors and contractors for BOQ validation. Project coordination and management duties include leading multidisciplinary coordination (structural, MEP, landscape) to ensure design integrity, managing project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations, and overseeing design revisions and approvals from local authorities. Finally, the professional will present design proposals to clients and stakeholders in both Arabic and English, liaise with government entities for permits and approvals, and prepare progress reports and presentations for project updates.
Skills:
1. Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent accredited institution)
- Master’s degree in Architecture or related field preferred
- Registration with Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of continuous architectural experience
- At least 3 years in a senior role managing projects
- Proven track record in:
- Residential/commercial projects
- Mixed-use developments
- Governmental/hospitality projects (preferred)
