Job Description:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting operations for F&B clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization within the F&B sector.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the unique needs of F&B operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of F&B industry trends, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing of all statutory obligations.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the F&B industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office-based setting.
