The individual will coordinate and support internal and external audits by furnishing requisite documentation and addressing auditor inquiries. Monitoring and management of general ledger accounts are also paramount, ensuring the accurate recording and classification of all transactions. The development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are required to augment operational efficiency and protect company assets. Providing assistance in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is essential to support strategic decision-making. The role necessitates ensuring the punctual and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Maintaining current knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices is a prerequisite.
