Job Description:**Responsibilities:**

The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

* **Accounts Payable (AP):** Verification of supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness of supporting documentation, and appropriate authorization; timely processing of vendor payments and reconciliation of vendor accounts on a monthly basis; maintenance of comprehensive records pertaining to purchase orders, invoices, and payment transactions; monitoring of accounts payable aging reports and resolution of discrepancies with vendors.

* **Accounts Receivable (AR):** Accurate recording and reconciliation of customer invoices, receipts, and collections; diligent monitoring of accounts receivable aging and proactive follow-up with customers regarding overdue balances; provision of support to the sales team in the resolution of billing inquiries and facilitation of credit note approvals; ensuring precise posting of receipts and allocation of payments.

* **General Ledger (GL):** Preparation and recording of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain accurate general ledger balances; monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and investigation of any discrepancies; ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company accounting policies; maintenance of the fixed assets register and ensuring accurate depreciation calculations.

* **Financial Reporting & Analysis:** Assistance in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; support of management reporting through the provision of financial analysis and variance explanations; contribution to cash flow forecasting and liquidity management; coordination with auditors during interim and annual audits by providing required schedules and documentation.

* **Compliance & Internal Controls:** Ensuring adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and approval limits; supporting the implementation and monitoring of internal control processes; collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting consistency; participation in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
