Job Description:New Era Education is currently recruiting a Security Officer to augment its Security team. The Security Officer shall be accountable for maintaining the safety and security of the organization’s premises, personnel, students, and visitors. This position encompasses the execution of security protocols and the response to security-related incidents.
**Responsibilities and Functions:**
* Maintain vigilance to identify, report, and mitigate safety hazards, and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
* Report all security operations-related issues to the Security Supervisor.
* Regulate and monitor access control to the premises and manage traffic (speed, parking) within the UPPINGHAM Cairo grounds.
* Verify the identity of individuals and maintain a comprehensive record of all visitors.
* Serve as the primary responder in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security violations.
* Maintain meticulous records of all security incidents, observations, and activities.
* Generate formal written reports to document security-related incidents.
* Identify and address security breaches or suspicious activities with expediency.
* Perform duties across all security posts throughout various shifts.
* Engage in effective communication with other departments to foster a unified security strategy.
* Comply with established security policies and procedures.
Skills:
Education
- Secondary School Certificate / High School Diploma or higher.
- Bachelor’s degree holders are welcome to apply
Experience
- A minimum of one year of experience in the same position.
Skills
