Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for an experienced Security Manager to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

As a Security manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have a number of people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills. Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures. Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses. Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs. Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms. Review reports on incidents and breaches. Investigate and resolve issues. Create reports for management on security status. Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology).

The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a similar environment and has strong capabilities in handling multiple tasks & organizing a detail-oriented and proven track record. Must have strong leadership skills, able to motivate and lead colleagues to achieve the department’s vision and measurable goals. You will possess the ability to make informed decisions through organizing, planning & taking ownership of assigned responsibilities. Also must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Must hold valid Security Manager permit issued from Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA). English fluent communication skills required; Arabic language knowledge advantageous.
