Wood, a leading global consulting and engineering firm dedicated to designing and advancing the world, seeks a qualified Scheduling Engineer to join our team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and project objectives.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules aligned with contract milestones.
* Generate project plans and associated documentation, including S-curves, histograms, and tabulated manpower/progress data.
* Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly progress reports.
* Analyze project progress and schedule performance, including productivity and critical path analysis.
* Provide relevant planning and reporting information to the Project Team.
* Ensure adherence to Company, Client, and Project QA Plan, policies, requirements, and standards.
* Incorporate scope changes and updated progress/delivery information into project schedules.
* Assist in the development of change notifications by assessing schedule impact and supporting related tracking and re-baselining efforts.
* Obtain and distribute deliverable and drawing lists and updates from relevant disciplines.
* Maintain awareness of project targets within the project team.
* Provide forecasts for schedule recovery as needed.
* Foster collaborative working relationships with Project Controls Teams, project departments, and client representatives.
* Ensure all planning activities comply with Corporate and Project-specific procedures.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
* A minimum of seven years of relevant scheduling experience is required.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
* Knowledge of ARAMCO standards and procedures is preferred.
* Demonstrated practical experience in planning and scheduling methodologies.
* Comprehensive understanding and application of planning theory, processes, and best practices.
* Ability to develop and maintain performance targets.
* Expertise in project controls and planning tools.
* Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, across all organizational levels.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and literacy skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
