The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving or exceeding established weekly, monthly, and annual sales objectives through proactive client engagement and strategic follow-up. The role necessitates the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within assigned territories through industrial site visits, lead outreach, and cross-sector networking. Furthermore, the Sales Engineer will conduct technical product presentations and live demonstrations to educate clients on the value and application of our engineering solutions. Collaboration with the technical team is required to develop tailored solutions that address client-specific project requirements. A comprehensive understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including cathodic protection systems, protective coatings, and corrosion monitoring tools, is essential. The maintenance of a robust sales pipeline through consistent lead contact, appointment scheduling, and follow-up with prospective and existing clients is also critical. The Sales Engineer will represent the company at trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, and other industry events to promote our services and cultivate relationships with potential clients. Accurate and timely sales reports detailing progress, forecasted deals, and insights gained during client interactions must be prepared regularly. Finally, the role requires the establishment and maintenance of strong, long-term client relationships through ensuring satisfaction and providing after-sales support.
