Job Description

1. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, and negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.

2. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

3. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

4. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

5. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

6. Meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets.

7. Preparing weekly and monthly reports.

8. Understanding and promoting company products.

9. Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.

10. Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.

11. Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

12. Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

13. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.

14. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly sales report.

15. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

16. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

17. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
