Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on Responsibilities):**
> The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets through effective sales team management. This includes developing and executing a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and enhance its market presence. Further responsibilities encompass the recruitment, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives. The Sales Manager will cultivate and maintain robust, enduring customer relationships by understanding and addressing their needs. Regular reporting of sales, revenue, expenses, and accurate forecasting to the management team is also required. Finally, the Sales Manager will proactively identify emerging markets and shifts in the market landscape, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of new products and competitive positioning, with a view towards expanding the customer base.
Skills:
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
