Role Objective / Purpose

Sales Executives are product specialists responsible for sales and gross margin targets of specific functions / group accounts. The role is primarily a specific product specialist; however, he/she is expected to enhance knowledge and sell a variety of product offerings.

Functions within scope

Subject to change based on Company strategy and objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Sales: 

• Generate leads. 

• Support team in achieving individual and team sales and gross margin targets. • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and provide consultation on products and services. 

• Work closely with designers and estimators in developing quotations and sales orders. • Work closely with the Design & Estimation team to ensure design and estimated values are in line with client expectations. 

• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. 

• Identify leads and opportunities and arrange meetings with clients along with relevant team members. 

• Gather client-specific knowledge and market requirements and recommend specific solutions of both products and services to the Sales Manager / Team Leader. 

• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and making recommendations to management. 

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks. 

• Meet regularly with Account / Client representatives to maintain and improve relationships. • Maintain effective market intelligence specific to the Account / Client and early warning service related to market trends. 

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

• Liaise with operations prior to quotation to accurately capture installation, service, and other relevant costs.

• Coordinate with the Operations to ensure Supply Chain and Installation and Maintenance services are efficiently provided to the projects within the function. 

General: 

• Collaborate with team members to broaden the spectrum of sales. 

• Ensure the confidentiality of the company’s information and enhances the company’s reputation.
