Job Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ MAIN DUTIES
- Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to UCIC safety policy.
- Outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures.
- Evaluates and analyses accident/incident and near miss reports to understand causes and recommend remedial measures to prevent future accidents.
- Daily/weekly and monthly reporting of NCRs, violations and safety statistics.
- Maintaining the Firefighting system with all the required documentation as per NFPA 25 standard.
- Conducts periodic risk assessments on all equipment/machineries and enforces the preventive measures.
Conducts monthly safety committee meetings with minutes circulated to all concern.
Skills
Certified as Professional or Practitioner from MOHR as a mandatory for hiring.
