The Safety and Security Manager is accountable for the comprehensive management of security, safety, and risk mitigation processes within assigned hotel properties. This encompasses ensuring a secure environment for guests and members, conducting thorough investigations, collaborating with local law enforcement agencies, and upholding full compliance with health and safety regulations. The incumbent is expected to proactively manage incident records, oversee criminal investigations, provide expert guidance on safety protocols, analyze accident data, deliver specialized training, and implement risk management strategies. Furthermore, the role necessitates effective communication with team members, active participation in training initiatives, and the ability to operate various computer programs for report generation and correspondence. A successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in security or a related field within the hospitality sector, demonstrated supervisory skills, and a comprehensive understanding of relevant safety regulations. A university degree in security and safety and previous experience with Hilton security standards are advantageous.
