Route Development Manager – LK AE

Job PurposeProvide input to and lead the implementation of the OFR, AFR, CDZ and IWS trade and route development management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business; objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.Key Tasks Lead all product trade and LK – AE route development management activities Guide countries on trade and route development management Ensure providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul required for hub and operations performance Ensure the development and implementation of products for various customers and products Lead the development of OFR, AFR, CDZ and IWS and trade and route development management plans and budgets, and the achievement of productivity targets Ensure, that customer and shipping company requirements and service, cost and budgetary guidelines are met Direct the development and maintenance of databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries Build and secure business relationships with customers and shipping companies, air lines, Ensure the preparation of carrier performance reports and reviews Periodically review processes and systems to enhance service quality and alignment with company’s direction and long-term goals Explore alternatives to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive products and negotiate competitive rates with shipping companies while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets. Oversee recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development Analyze complex issues, benchmark, identify opportunities and introduce best practices for OFR, AFR trade and route development management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiencyRole requirementBachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ International Business, Sales/ Marketing, Logistics or any other related field. 05 to 08 years experience in route development.Results-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability.Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics.Clear and persuasive communication skills, including presentation to senior stakeholders.Location – DubaiIf you are up to the challenge – send in your CV today!
