The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with the association’s objectives and the requirements of the Financial Regulatory Authority; leading the identification, assessment, and monitoring of financial and operational risks associated with microfinance activities; preparing and updating risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international standards; managing the risk management team and enhancing their professional capabilities through continuous training and guidance; conducting regular risk analyses and providing comprehensive reports to senior management and the Board of Directors; coordinating with other departments to integrate risk management into all operational processes; monitoring key risk performance indicators and recommending corrective actions as needed; overseeing internal and external audit processes related to risk and compliance; developing emergency response and crisis management plans to ensure business continuity; and communicating with regulatory authorities and partners to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
