Job Description:House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO), a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm established in Saudi Arabia, is currently seeking to employ a qualified Resident Engineer (Architecture) for a project located in AlUla. Candidates must demonstrate substantial expertise in architectural supervision, adherence to design specifications, and the successful execution of projects with heritage considerations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance of all architectural works with approved designs, established heritage guidelines, and client specifications. This includes: supervising on-site construction activities to maintain design integrity and uphold stringent quality standards; reviewing and approving architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and associated documentation; coordinating effectively with structural, MEP, landscape, and heritage specialist teams to address and resolve any technical challenges that may arise; monitoring site progress, workmanship quality, and material usage to guarantee adherence to project specifications; conducting thorough site inspections and preparing comprehensive technical and progress reports; and ensuring full compliance with all relevant Saudi building codes and accepted conservation principles.

**Qualifications:**

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Architecture and a minimum of thirteen (13) years of experience in architectural supervision, preferably within Saudi Arabia. Experience with projects incorporating heritage sensitivity or landscape integration is essential. A comprehensive understanding of heritage conservation principles and regional architectural styles is required, alongside demonstrable strong technical and communication skills. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.
